Why is it important?
Friends, you have to remember that nothing could exist by intself anymore. If we want to have West and East, North and South, we have to support them, the corners of the world. We have to enforce it! We have to instist on their differences!
We have to resist the Sameness....
I see, you thought that it is only the West is under attact.
Listen, the moment the notion of the West is gone, we have have no geography, we won't even know what is right and what is left.
Maybe, now, after 9-11 we can understand it better?

Summary
I was born in Europe (okay, Eastern Europe) and lived in Moscow, which I always considered as Asiatic capital of two-headws Russia. Now I live at end of the West, even this Wild West, one more step -- and I am not in Alaska anymore, but in Asia... No escape from my Asian fate.

Becoming Oriental: Film has no time, the real time is suspended! Two hours of my time is gone! Time means nothing, time doesn't exist! Nothing changes! I am back where I started. Are they "sleepy" -- the Asians? They OBSERVE life and themselves, they accepted the dictatorship of time... and transcended it (like the South?)!
.... I always thought that Devil looks oriental. Maybe the eyes. Now after watching all these karate movies, I am sure, yes, he must be Chinese.
"Geography" of my books is obvious: South (Africa), North
(Russian) and the West in its extreme (A-book), could it be that
the missing "corner" -- the East.... is about film?
I already assigned the "northern" qualities to film.

what is the cyclical time? "No-time" time?

Japan and now China -- new cinema. The West has arrived.
Film is the point where the four corners of the world has
melted together -- light and copies of living (south). Death
(north). Oriental and Buddhism -- a withdrawal. (see Light)
What Asia? Which one?
Tatars-Mongols are different from the Chinese of Japanese.
Indians (many different cultures) and Persians, and there are
Arabs! And you call it "East"?
I need the new (psychological) geography, because the
physical geography is gone. Only the cultural is left. And it
build-in features within this "global" society. How could it
'global" without the four corner of the world present? As if it a
completely new (space aliens?) population! What an arrogance to
think that we are together as a new race, when one look tell you
who is black, white or yellow! More so, the further we in mixing
it, the bigger the origins will become an issue.
How does it help you? Does it? Different perceptions --
experiences for us to chose from.
Big problem -- the antiquity, the complete separation with some unexplained phenomena like Egypt! Time and georgaphy.
Какие названия придумали -- визуальная культура, даже visual literacy! Как только человек не "прогибается" перед ними! Не даром коммунисты называли этот "класс" ... Может быть так из людей человеков можно сделать?

.... Да, с воображением плохо. Каждую секунду кто-то рождается и умирате. Могу ли я это представить? Как? Как быть с формулой "Я = Ты"?
А ведь эта формула и есть универсальный ответ! Оба полюса, верхний и нижный совпадают, но не верю?
